Thanks for this Emilie. I struggle with many of these, including the fight between passion (or lack thereof, procrastination and thinking my work has to be something that moves the reader in a way that they'll never forget - LOL. Now that I wrote that out, it's actually quite silly.

So I find that if the writing moves YOU in a way, then it will surely move the reader. I think that's how a connection is made.
